Silencers, suppressors, moderators.

Call them what you will, since 1937 in UK law, they have been given the same status as a firearm. To possess one, it had to be applied for and entered on your Firearm Certificate as if it was a firearm. This did not apply to air rifles. If you had a moderator for, say, a .22 air rifle, then no certi...

Re: Enfield Trainer advertised today by IMA

I had my WW1 vintage Pattern14 no.2 SMLE .22 trainer at the range on Monday night. I paid a lot less for it than they want for that though.

Peter.

Broken case extractors.

I carry these around in my shooting bag. I have never had to use them but they are there, just in case. There is a .303, .308 and .30-06.

Re: boards back 20 years ago

I was looking some old photos from 2004 and noticed this one. It was part of the photo montage on the old Ezboard site. The people that own the cannon still fire it off at the start of the morning and afternoon sessions at the Trafalgar Meeting at Bisley every October. TM04Cannon.JPG Regards Peter.

Re: The holsters of the generic sort

This is not a generic holster, but one made for the Webley MkVI revolver. I still have my Webley MkVI revolver, in full working order, but not allowed to take it to the range. I can have it as a collector's item only. Holster front.JPG Holster back.JPG Holster maker name.JPG Webley MkVI right.JPG We...

Re: The holsters of the generic sort

I have a few holsters I have acquired over the years. I ought to take a few photos of them. One I have photos of is a holster that came with an old air pistol I bought many years ago. I am not sure what pistol it was originally made for. Holster front.JPG Holster inside.JPG Holster rear.JPG Regards ...

I have a bayonet but mine does not quite fit the long rifle, but OK on the carbines.

Mannlicher M95 carbine

As well as the Swiss rifle, I also bought a Mannlicher M95 carbine in 8x56R at the same time from the same dealer. They were priced right so I knew I would regret it if I did not buy them. It is in nice condition and shoots well. It barks a bit with military surplus ammo but is not too bad to shoot....
