In Soviet Union first time You shooting .22 Cal. rifle in school(8 grade). Before finishing Hi School You have little experience with AKM(Kalashnikov 7.62x39). But Toz-8( or Toz-8M, or Toz-12) in school,- is always The First.

No rails for scope, I think they started out somwehre in the 1950s with rails, but since rifles from that time are not too common, I can not say for sure. Chris ######################### Looks like... My oldest Toz http://news.webshots.com/photo/1440290437060623851AmlUaS does not have rails too.
