Re: Since the WWI treads are the only ones really active

Probably was killing whitetail during the war... NE1915 (1).jpg This one scrubbed by the Balkans no doubt. scrub_ptg.jpg ...

Golden State Arms MAS36

Im posting this here so the real mas36 owners arent offended. LoL... Yesterday I saw the strangest mas36 at a gun show in upstate NY where I live. It said it was a mas36, it had the right rear stock but the front stock piece was definitely sported. While at the show I used my old pal google and sear...

Re: Strange..........

If it eventually blew off with the 91/30 I'd bet it would have come off the first time on the M38. There is enough charge in the surplus for the long 91/30 but its wasted as fire balls on the carbines...

Make him one anyway Dave. Send it carrier pigeon...

Re: Yep. Im hooked!

No problem getting ammo as of yet. I can get a tuna can of Romanian, Bulgarian, or Russian for about $130 dollars...roughly 85 pounds. That's 440 rounds of pure shoulder pounding fun in a can! I've tried the Russian 188/82 and Just bought a can of Romanian. I didn't have a single misfire with ...
