1888-05-38 Turk commission rifle parts needed

barrel replacement

I have a similar setup to yours. ??? do you have any extra decent condition T 38 barrels you might want to part with? CVarbine or rifle is not important, want a good shooter. I have a well worn Koishikawa with a rusted out bore measuring .266-.278 that throws some good keyhole groups of 1" at 1...

Vet

I can use the magazine but most of the competition I shoot requires single load. I bought one of the group buy vetterli molds but have not received it yet, the bullet appears longer so will see if it will mag feed. If its a better bullet I will probably take it out to the 200-500 meter military silo...

PBR

Seeme its about every other trip, mostly when he shoots the propane spark plug actuated twin fifties and other boaters freak out, or when he pulls into bigger harbors.

Vetterli's were ahead of there time.

Seems that if you look at the firearms development when the first Vets were rolling off prodution lines they were way ahead of there time in firepower for a military machine. I shoot 200 meter silouette every month with mine and it always is a joy to shoot and draws a lot of interest. I bought a sup...
