Annual World Custard Pie Championship

Postby DuncaninFrance » Sun Jun 03, 2018 6:43 am

The annual World Custard Pie Championship was held once again in Coxheath, Kent where more than 2,000 custard pies were thrown in a series of food fights.

Not only custard pies, in case if anyone has forgotten, the Knaresborough Bed Race is on this Saturday, 9th June. Always a popular event locally, but also seems to have caught on in some other places. Have a look at the video to see what goes on.
Regards
Peter.

Bed Races were popular on college campuses in the 60's. Here's an image from a 1968 University of South Alabama yearbook.
