Seems like there is this 1886 Winchester that sold for record money recently. According to the headline it was because it was given to someone who had, previous to the gift, had "helped" capture Geronimo. There is another likely reason buried in the story.

By the way look at Geronimo in the photo. Looks like he is holding a Springfield 1861 rifle musket. Probably a prop for the photo ...but what would that one bring based on the headline?
