Pastafariens have rights too

This is the place for thoughts that you want to share about nearly anything that comes to mind. Politics is ok as well. All notions and opinions are the view of the poster and not this site. Just remain civil in whatever you wish to express.

Pastafariens have rights too

Postby Niner » Sat Sep 21, 2019 2:04 pm

In Alaska there was a legal ruling that a city council had to let whatever local established "religion" have a turn at the opening invocation without prejudice...for as long as they had to have an invocation. It has now gotten into the twilight zone.

At one time I was a member of the Apathyolist Faith, but then I lost interest in it......

I know I have said this before....but when I went into the army when the dog tag information was being filled out I put "none". The head drill sergeant confronted me and said I couldn't leave it blank. I suggested Phenomenological Existentialist. Of course there wasn't enough room for that and what I got in the religious space was "no preference" . I guess that would include a Pastafarien as well as anything else. Come one. Come all. I don't really have a preference is how that must play.

I was in the same boat as you, tried to put "none" on my dog tags. Just checked my tags and
they shortened up my no preference to "no pref".
