New Zealand issue Long Branch

Post by sakorick » Wed Aug 22, 2012 2:52 pm

I am very fond of my New Zealand Long Branch. I purchased this rifle about 5 years ago. It is all matching and looks nearly unused. Regards, Rick.

Lee Enfields are not my main field of interest, but this one looks exceptionally good.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Rick.

Hello Martin. I have never met a Dutch collector and it's an honor. I own several Mosins that may interest you. I will post a few of them on the Nagant thread when I catch a breath. Regards, Rick.

Well Rick, the honor is all mine.
I'd love to see a couple of pictures of the Mosin Nagants in your collection, because these rifles and carbines are my main field of interest.
Being a Dutch collector my collection has to have a theme.
In my case the Mosin Nagant.
I have permission to collect Mosin Nagants and Mosin Nagants only.

I will log in to the Mosin Nagant thread regularly to check for your Mosin Nagant pictures.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Your rifle and mine seem very similar including the serial number , mine is unbelievably close to yours.
7L6820. My guess is that they were shipped to New Zealand early and did not get issued.
