M-60 target practice

Postby spearedum » Tue Oct 04, 2005 12:54 pm

My OP overlooked a free fire zone neer the Ho Che Min Trail. I had cases of M-60 ammo for my use, and I learned how to touch of one round at a time. I needed to be very gentel with the trigger using just my finger tip, and releace as soon as I fired.

We fashened a 55 gal. lid to a tree 1000 meters away. (Remember, we were artillery surveyors) We loaded a belt of only tracers, and from where I aimed the lid looked liked a period at the end of a sentance! We used a spoter with binoculars to adjust our fire, but sense it was a free fire zone we never, personally, checked our accurecy!

Thanx Dante' :CA: :salute:

I found the mirror at a wrecked race car at California (AAA) Speedway
