The schooner Alabama

Postby Niner » Sat Aug 27, 2016 11:13 am

Came across this link. Seems there was a schooner made in the 1920's that was used as a pilot boat out of Mobile for some time until the 60's. But when it was used as a pilot boat, it wasn't used as a sailing ship.

When I was growing up the father of one of my best friends was a bar pilot in Mobile. He must have been on this ship during it's Mobile service. But now.. guess where it is?
