Bourse aux Armes, Jonzac

Post by DuncaninFrance » Mon Mar 30, 2015 3:45 pm

Photographs (on my phone camera) taken yesterday at the Bourse aux Armes at my club in Jonzac,
My 'table' in the 10 mtr indoor range - cost for the day €5!

Image

A new company selling only black powder guns and accessories - I know the owners. They must have done over 3,000€ on the day from what I saw.

Coffee and croissants for all when we arrived to set up at about 8:30 a.m.

Trophies won by club members in Club and Local Competitions.

Cowboy Action Shooters - club members as well

Only 9 tables but a good day for the first effort but it needs more publicity. I sold enough to make it a good day for me but it wouldn't make me a living!

I like that the show is held right at the range because it also advertises the place and shows the facilities and what types of things that can be done there. Maybe you'll bring in some new blood. It looks friendly, a great place to learn or teach the kids.

So you only did selling, no buying? ;)

Great photos. Really shows a lot about how it must have been to experience it. Looks like a lot of enthusiasm there , considering the Cowboy Action Shooters.

Some of those "cowboys" look to be in need of some horse riding cowboy boots. But that kid, second left, looks a lot like Billy the Kid from old photos.

No buying Arch BUT I got to fondle a few of the Ardesa Canon and I think the next buy will be an Old Ironside Kit in .69. Price is €189,00 and my wife can't say I have already got one

I seem to remember Joe playing with some on his indoor range

A friend of mine just bought one of those canons Duncan and has asked me to be her "assistant gunner" so there may be some more canon shoot pictures in the coming months.
Good pics from the arms fair btw, been a long time since I visited a French one.
