Did you know that....

The country that avoids war and the country that fights but has a hard time winning have been combined. The Swiss made some excellent firearms and the French made some unique and occasionally inspiring ones. We have added the Belgian and Dutch since they are neighbors.

Swiss K31 front and rear sights come in several wides ?

Standard 1,8 mm wide is normal but the older the eyes the wider the sights may be.

A sight blade that is wider is always stamped that way and the rear sight should be correct to it.

Thanks,

No, I didn't know that...I just had to go measure all of mine<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :b --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b">;

Everything that I checked out was 1.8mm, except for a 96/11 that had a 2.0mm.

What did they do for the old eyes that had an 1889, or something else with a pointed blade? Tough luck? :D;
