My new Swiss toy

The country that avoids war and the country that fights but has a hard time winning have been combined. The Swiss made some excellent firearms and the French made some unique and occasionally inspiring ones. We have added the Belgian and Dutch since they are neighbors.

I'm curious about how tight the screws were on that rifle

My experience with Swiss K31 rifles is that they shoot best with the bands loose, the front action screw really tight, and the rear screw something between really tight and snug (this is recommended by the SwissRifles website). My understanding is that the swiss just tightened everything really tight. What level of tightness were the screws in on that rifle?

I wish sights were allowed by the Civilian Marksmanship Program here. In the Vintage Military Rifle match here last week, the issue sights were driving me batty.
