A TASTE FOR THE COUNTRY........

The country that avoids war and the country that fights but has a hard time winning have been combined. The Swiss made some excellent firearms and the French made some unique and occasionally inspiring ones. We have added the Belgian and Dutch since they are neighbors.

That flower one looks like a painting. Interesting photos. You have a good eye.

Cool pics, I'm photographically challenged so my pics are very poor compared to yours.
The one of the beach and jetty going out into the water, is that a cross with Jesus at the end of the jetty? Is he watching over the oystermen? Very interesting, I like it.

Oh, and if you squint your eyes so you can barely see the picture, you'll see a missile submarine with the missile hatches open.

Yes it does.

The cross is at the entrance to the oyster fishermen's creek and probably is to 'watch over them'. I just like that sort of long shot.

Speaking of fishing boats. Here are two snapshots I took last week in Mobile Bay. Note one is a boat owned by a Vietnamese , now a US citizen. The one with all the bird activity is shrimping and the birds are waiting for the crew to clear the nets of the trash fish or maybe some will fly down and steal a few shrimp that the men haul in.
