MY CLAY SHOOTING CLUB ( Image heavy )
Not sure when the sat images were taken but there are better facilities now with all shooting points covered.

Re: MY CLAY SHOOTING CLUB
Great aerial pictures Duncan.
I'd love to do some clay shooting myself once.
Never had the opportunity.
Maybe next time when we visit the shooting range in the former East Germany.
They have both a 100 meter range and a clay shooting range.
I'd love to try it some time.
Thanks for sharing the pictures Duncan.
I'd love to see some ground level pictures if you have some.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Martin

Re: MY CLAY SHOOTING CLUB
Just come down any Saturday afternoon Martin and we will sort it out for you. Better still, make a weekend of it and I will take you to the range in Merignac on Sunday and you can play with my Enfield and Mauser tooI'd love to see some ground level pictures if you have some.
I will be getting some ground shots soon, I keep forgetting my camera and the images that my phone takes are, to say the least, rubbish.

Re: MY CLAY SHOOTING CLUB
Just dropped in myself to have a look around, courtesy of Google Earth.
Lovely spot by the looks of things; do you drive or swim or go by boat?
I guess that you drive and via the Pont Eiffel as that looks to be the most convenient and an interesting bridge into the bargain.
which you are probably all too familiar with but have you been underneath?
Make a good miniature range in there.

Re: MY CLAY SHOOTING CLUB
Yes Eoin, that's the road I take.
That bridge was destroyed by the Germans in 1944 and re-built. I think it was usable again in 1949. Just down river from it is a similar bridge that takes the railway.
The next bridge up river (that is the Dordogne), carries the A10 motorway.

From what I've heard it snows up there; any chance of a winter photo?
