Valmet "Standard"

Probably the most popular caliber firearm in most of the world. Many of us have more than one. They also are very collectible and still cheap to shoot.

Valmet "Standard"

I glommed this .22 match rifle at the auction today. Anyone familiar with Valmet .22 match rifles?

It needs a rear sight, but I have a line on a replacement

Well, I got a chance to see the rifle before it went into the FFL's safe for the obligatory "10 day cooling off" period. Bore and metal were fine, stock may need some attention.

Also, the sights arrived from Sweden today

very nice looking rifle , look forward to seeing the sight installed and hear how it shoots
