started as bolt only , the DPMS impressed me so much i now have a 16" with the EOTECH i mentioned to go with the 20" that has the ACOG , im still missing the scope for my SA M1A but im working on it , did trade for a nice chinese SKS w/bayo-no launcher , think im hooked on these , id hoped to just have the M1rifle and M1carbine in semis but they grow on you

so i found the scope i wanted for the M1A , picked up a nice leupold mk4 LR/T , it made that rifle a very accurate 200 yd piece[thats the longest we have localy] im really enjoying shooting these , my old eyes dont do so well with irons anymore

the SA M1A/M14 type was my first , i had wanted it for some time and when the time came round i invested , as to the 556s i had not thought of having one since my first experience with a colt back in the very early 1970s , but with the DPMS factory at my local range i kept seeing them , they grew on me and i felt this compulsion to own the local product , ive seen enough info to know there are many out there and some are ranked above these in the inner circles of users but i must say ive not been disapointed at all , the chinese SKS came from a friend[even his photo] i couldnt pass it up
