NEW BRASS

Post by DuncaninFrance » Fri Feb 15, 2008 6:15 pm

Well, thanks to the most generous help of a member of the forum (I mention no names BUT if they are happy to be identified then they can let me know and I will edit the post) I am now in possession of 50 new .35 Whelen cases.

Decided to test 20 to start with so have re-sized them to 8x60 and cropped 3mm from the neck. The shoulder of the Whelen cases is not as well defined as the RWS 8x60 that I have but I hope that it will improve by fireforming.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f392/ ... EN-WEB.jpg[/pic]I will be at the range Sunday to test them and if all goes well the other 30 will be loaded in quick time.

They feed and chamber OK with no apparent difference to the RWS so fingers crossed for Sunday.
