Whilst sorting through a pile of 303s from Holts I happened upon an incorrectly fitted magazine. My research (limitted to a couple of books) puts it as possibly an MLE magazine. It has a platform I assume for Mk6 or earlier ammo and the spring sadly detached is a C form rather than a W form. the botton edge of the magazine is curved more than the one for the SMLE and in the pics it is shown next to that and a Savage one for a No4.
The magazine also has the two holes for the eye to secure the mag via the chain to the rifle. What do you folks think and can it be restored. I think I am missing something that should go on the lip at the front but barring that can it be done?
Sorry about the pics

MLE magazine parts
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!

Re: MLE magazine parts
Restorable if you can find another magazine spring. Your's is broken; the end is folded to form the attachment to the magazine body. These days it's well worth restoring one of these increasingly rare (around here anyway) magazines.
