54 Romanian M44 #'s matching

I already have a clean numbers matching 54 Romanian M44 in my collection but I never let a good deal pass me by. I found this one on a local gun board with a stupid low price so 1 phone call and 30 minutes latter I was the proud owner.

1954 is a pretty late date. When do you think the last Romanian...or any M44 was made?

The last Romanian was made in 1955, the very last M44 was Chinese in 1960, and that was after a couple of year shut down by them.

I believe the production of M44's is as follows

Russian 43-48
Polish 51-55
Hungarian 52-53
Romanian 53-55
Chinese 53-56 & 60
