Schmidt Rubin, Model G11

The country that avoids war and the country that fights but has a hard time winning have been combined. The Swiss made some excellent firearms and the French made some unique and occasionally inspiring ones. We have added the Belgian and Dutch since they are neighbors.

Congratulations!

Six weeks is a long wait. Quicker than a baker though ;)

Sent the customs declaration off yesterday so the ball is now in their court.
Have done a little research and found that the serial stamped on the bolt, barrel and chamber is the same so the rifle was made in 1906. Total produced 6000 - Serials between 316001 & 322000, mine being 320**7. :SWI:

Have ordered a Set of Lee Pacesetter dies from Henry Krank's and am about to order 40 rounds of PRVI Partisan 7.5x55 Swiss, 174 grn FMJ-BT from ESP in France. That will give me the cases to reload. Need to source some Hornady 180 grn SPBT . Powder will be VihtaVuori N140 - probably start with 40 grns.

If anyone has any different ideas let me know :)

One of the things I love most about milsurps is the history that there is to discover.
