Re: Enfield .22
I would love to get some detailed photos of this rifle.
The left rear wall of the action body (just rearward of the charger guide) seems to have an unusual contour. Anyone else notice that?

Not sure what you mean. Initially I thought the side on shot looked odd. Then I realised the near side of the bolt head charger guide was directly behind and making it look as if the rear of the action was much higher than usual. Is that what you mean ?

LOL!
Yes, that's what I meant. Just my bad eyes playing tricks on me! Thanks for pointing that out---it's the charger guide of course.

Good, I can stop looking now. Thought I was missing something.

I don't see it much. I am next at the range on the 24th of April. I will look out for it and try to have my camera with me. I still wish it was mine.

I updated this post to post photos direct instead of Photobucket links that don't work any more.

Thanks , Peter. Great job. The site has been through all sorts of hell through the years but the images posted directly to the site have been maintained or revived from time to time. The photobucket and other linking images have largely disappeared altogether unless the original poster reuploads them directly to the site.
