Hi guys, posted this on other boards, I just purchased this 43 k31, Its probably Walnut but it sure looks like Cherry. anyway I really like the figure to the wood, and the cool splice job.

Thats a neat looking rifle and a dandy of a splice job. How does she shoot.

My 1943 K31 also has a wood repair. Mine was refurbed in 1957. There is a 57 on the top tang. Is there a number there on yours?
