Another great Sunday morning at the range.

Well, great except for the 102 heat index.

We took Bob's girlfriend Tiffany back to http://rbgc.org/ this weekend to let her shoot some of the bigger stuff. Last trip she shot mostly .22's and my Star B 9mm. Of course last time was here first time shooting.

This trip she shot a CAR15, Bob's R700 .243, both of our M1 Carbines, and 2 .45 handguns.

Bob spent a good portion of the day loading mags for Tiffany.

you are a fortunate man , your kids are still young enough to get time on range with regularity , mine are gone with families of their own , but once in a while - like today i still get to have what you enjoyed ,

my daughter and a girl friend of hers spent the afternoon with me on the pistol/rifle range , i do feel blessed to have gotten to share this time with them , and they both seem to be inclined to want to take the CCW class i will be taking after the first of the year for my renewal ,

i will admit that although relatively new at this they are quick studies and both show proficiency to the point that i would not want to be confronting either in a dark alley , they both would qualify with my kimber 45 today , as well as the berretta ninty-two and the hi-power they shot , likewise if all they had was the ruger mkII or the hi-standard 101 id not want to be on the receiving end of any of the mags they unleashed ,

the only rounds that were not on paper in the kill zone were the very first that they each shot that were when the mind was overriding the body , once under concentration these two beautiful girls became deadly , and impressed even the older shooters on the range today , wish i had their eyes and response time in my favor - " i could be a contender"
